EN        The exhibition “zeitkapsel” presented by the artist Anna Irina Moser, takes place following a residency at the espace annexe, during which she conceptualized and produced the work on display.

The artist explains that “time passes if we do not capture it,” which simply reflects the intention of this work.
Her connection to the city of Biel, and in particular to the Terrain Gurzelen, led her to reflect on the relationships of time and the process of materializing a place, generated by the site’s limited lifespan – considering a real estate project in its place.
Her work aims to fix the moments experienced while exploring the site, symbolically imagined as fingerprints tracing corners, surfaces, and surrounding textures. She seeks to narrate her own interpretation of Terrain Gurzelen, first by collecting these traces and then transforming them into abstract images, echoing her practice of charcoal drawing.
The components – including supports made of tissue paper – were selected in correlation with the artistic intentions of the project: they highlight the delicate and sensitive process she values in capturing fragments of the site and convey a certain fragility through their characteristics.

The installation aims to evoke the vastness of the paths we can take, the countless traces of our explorations, which intertwine and recombine in our memories.
These imprints of the site are catalogued and listed in the title of the installation as a glossary of the work and as the vocabulary of her time capsule.

FR         L’exposition “zeitkapsel” proposée par l’artiste Anna Irina Moser prend part après une résidence au sein de l’espace annexe, dans laquelle elle a conceptualisé et produit le travail exposé.

L’artiste raconte que « le temps part si on ne le capture pas », dont représente bonnement l’intention de ce travail.
Son lien avec la ville de Bienne, et notamment le Terrain Gurzelen, l’a amenée à réfléchir aux rapports de temps et le processus de matérialisation d’un lieu, engendrés par la durée de vie limitée du site – envisageant un projet immobilier à la place.
Son travail a pour but de fixer les instants vécus en explorant le lieu, symboliquement imaginés comme des empreintes digitales retraçant les recoins, les surfaces et les textures environnantes. Elle tend à raconter sa propre interprétation du Terrain Gurzelen, d’abord, en collectant ces traces, puis en les transformant en des images abstraites, faisant écho à sa pratique de dessin au fusain.
Les composants — dont les supports en papier de soie — ont été sélectionnées en corrélation avec les intentions artistiques du projet : elles mettent en avant le processus délicat et sensible qu’elle valorise en captant les fragments du lieu, et émettent par leur caractéristiques une certaine fragilité.

L’installation a pour but de faire ressentir l’immensité de chemins que nous pouvons prendre, les innombrables traces lors de nos explorations, dont s’entremêlent et se recomposent dans nos souvenirs.
Ces empreintes du lieu sont répertoriées et listées dans le titre de l’installation comme glossaire du travail et comme vocabulaire de sa capsule temporelle.

DE         Die Ausstellung „zeitkapsel“ vorgeschlagen von der Künstlerin Anna Irina Moser, findet nach einem Aufenthalt im espace annexe statt, in dem sie die ausgestellte Arbeit konzipiert und produziert hat.

Die Künstlerin erzählt, dass „Zeit vergeht, wenn man sie nicht einfängt“, was schlicht die Absicht dieser Arbeit widerspiegelt.
Ihre Verbindung zur Stadt Biel, insbesondere zum Terrain Gurzelen, brachte sie dazu, über Zeitverhältnisse und den Prozess der Materialisierung eines Ortes nachzudenken, hervorgerufen durch die begrenzte Lebensdauer des Geländes – im Hinblick auf ein Immobilienprojekt an seiner Stelle.
Ziel ihrer Arbeit ist es, die erlebten Momente beim Erkunden des Ortes festzuhalten, symbolisch vorgestellt als Fingerabdrücke, die Ecken, Oberflächen und Texturen der Umgebung nachzeichnen. Sie erzählt zunächst ihre eigene Interpretation des Terrain Gurzelen, indem sie diese Spuren sammelt und anschließend in abstrakte Bilder verwandelt, die an ihre Kohlezeichnungen erinnern.
Die Komponenten – einschließlich der Träger aus Seidenpapier – wurden in Übereinstimmung mit den künstlerischen Absichten des Projekts ausgewählt: Sie betonen den zarten und sensiblen Prozess, den sie bei der Erfassung von Ortfragmenten wertschätzt, und vermitteln durch ihre Eigenschaften eine gewisse Fragilität.

Die Installation zielt darauf ab, die Weite der Wege zu spüren, die wir beschreiten können, die unzähligen Spuren unserer Erkundungen, die sich miteinander verflechten und in unseren Erinnerungen neu zusammensetzen.
Diese Abdrücke des Ortes sind im Titel der Installation aufgelistet und dokumentiert, als Glossar der Arbeit und als Vokabular ihrer Zeitkapsel.
